Mechanical Testing Services
Mechanical Testing encompasses a range of test methods to measure the properties of materials by observing how they react to a force being applied to them, whether it be compression, tensile, impact, bend or hardness. From window cleaning cradles to heavy lifting equipment, mobile cranes to ships anchors, Mechanical Testing is crucial to ensure a component complies with specification requirements and is of compliant quality, safe and fit for purpose. Our Mechanical Testing Services are available in Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Pressure System Testing Service
The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR) require pressure systems to be inspected in accordance with a Written Scheme of Examination. Lloyds British International can provide you with full compliance, by means of thorough examinations together with Written Scheme of Examination documentation. Pressure vessel regulations apply to owners and users of relevant fluids, including steam, gases under pressure and any fluid kept artificially under pressure and which becomes a gas when released to the atmosphere.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Services
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is the application of measuring techniques in order to identify damage and/or irregularities in materials. NDT often provides the only method of obtaining information about the fitness for purpose of safety critical components. NDT is essential in ensuring the safe operation as well as in quality control and assessing plant life.
