Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER Training Course)
The aim of this LOLER Training Courses is to teach persons an overview of what the Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 are about and how they are used along with other relevant legislation. The course also looks at the documentation required and the various inspection techniques and rejection criteria of portable lifting equipment.
Lifting Equipment Inspection Training/ Thorough Examination Training Course. (LOLER Inspection Training)
To teach persons an overview of the examination process of in-service portable lifting equipment as required by LOLER Regulations (Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 along with other relevant legislation.. The course also looks at the documentation required and the various inspection techniques and rejection of lifting equipment.
Slinger/Signaller Training Course
To teach the operators to safely sling and move loads using the correct equipment. On completion of the one day course, the operator will know: Their statutory duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, The importance of sling angle in relation to safe working load, The importance of weight and centre of gravity in relation to the safe working load of the lifting tackle and Signalling codes for slingers
Rigging and Slinging Training Course
To teach maintenance staff to rig lifting equipment safely. On completion of the one day course, the operator will know: Their statutory duties under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, The importance of weight and centre of gravity in relation to the safe working load of the lifting tackle, Signalling codes for slingers, To be conversant with the principles and practices of Rigging and Lifting.
