Appointed Person Training - 4 day / 1 day Refresher

The Appointed Person training course is to provide the necessary information, instruction and training in order for delegates to perform the function of. Appointed Persons for Lifting Operations in correlation with a appointed person . On completion of the course delegates will be conversant with the principles and practices of Lift Planning in order to be appointed to perform the function of Appointed Persons under British and International standards.

  • Controlling the Lifting Operation using the Method Statement and Risk Assessment

 

Case Study:

  • Positioning of a Crane to Move a Load
  • Course Summary – Review and Open Forum Delegate Assessment

Who Will Benefit?

Those who will need to carry out lift plan, method statements and supervise the lift when required.

Details

To attend the appointed person training course all delegates must have at least 2 years lifting experience and be a qualified Slinger Signaller

PPE Required

None theory based course.
